Just read this article from @fastcompany about a kitchen-friendly iPad cutting board. It’s clear that technology continues to become more and more integrated into the daily activities in which we participate. What’s of interest to many is how seamlessly the technology in integrated into the activity-the more it makes sense to the activity, the easier it is to support it’s use.
It’s easy to see a digital cutting board surface that can immediately provide feedback about the items being prepared: portion size/weight ideal cooking temperature, possible side dishes, or even wine pairings. If something so trivial as a cutting board can take on such a supportive role in process of food prep, would you include it in your arsenal? We are talking about using tech for its intended purpose, and not suggesting that you use your iPad or Galaxy tablet like this.
